Chronically fatigued, I spent the morning lounging in my flares sifting through old Nylon magazines and re-watching the large collection of Tartatino films I have on my desktop.  Its exam week and I'm currently emerged up to my eyeballs in trig. Took a break and browsed through my music which consists really of tantalizing tear wrenchers(I know what you're thinking and no! ew taylor swift doesn't exist on my playlist try Shura instead) lots of indie, hot european club shit, and a whole lot of obscure nonsense. Decided to upload it, cheers!

1. Fitz and The Tantrums- Out of my league  been on repeat for months now used to play it in the summer when my friends got their licenses 

2. Big Data- Dangerous  killer beat its like the ultimate walking down the street being utterly cool song

3. Flight Facilities- Crave you  honestly their music is not for everyone, not hate intended;) but this song is one of my favorites and her outfits in the video are so hilariously bizarre 

4. Mgmt- Electric feel  hadn't heard of this band till recently but love this song to death, watched some of their music videos last night and I have to admit they are pretty creative including the one I've linked below where they're in dancing in some caveman colony and in another one of their songs called 'Kids'

5. Years and Years- Real/ King/Desire/Take shelter they are ultimately my favourite band of all time, everything by them is just so damn good..

6. Brad Sucks- Making me Nervous  i have no idea who Brad sucks is but their songs are great

7. Haim- My song 5 greatest sister band ever lived, when I heard this song I was like woah 

8. Flume and Chet Faker- Drop the game found this song today

9. Broods- Burning Bridges found this song today too

10. Gorgon City- here for you the guy in this video has wings attached to his shoes

diaphanous talks and long nights

                       

I took this while walking home tonight and couldn't help but stop and contemplate how utterly minuscule I am midst a city of hundreds of thousands. I feel so small, so incompetent in the eyes of scrutiny, and I wonder if I am just another wanderer without a place, a position where I can feel like I belong. I think about that these long delusional nights, as I write from my window admiring the beauty of my city yet wishing for a way to an escape from ordinary reality..
